Pediatric Speech Therapist: Bozeman, Montana

A busy multidisciplinary out-patient pediatric therapy clinic in beautiful Bozeman is seeking a full/part-time pediatric Speech therapist.

The qualified candidate will have experience in pediatric speech therapy, have an ability and willingness to work as a member of a comprehensive team of therapists, and will have current knowledge of diagnosis and treatment protocols.

The position requires the ability to evaluate, create a plan-of-care, and maintain up-to-date treatment documentation along with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of people. The successful candidate is expected to work independently, manage a variety of duties in a timely manner and demonstrate good problem solving and organizational skills.

Areas of Common Practice: Autism, feeding or swallowing issues, neurological disorders or dysfunction, seizure disorders, genetic syndromes, auditory processing disorders, articulation and motor speech disorders, including apraxia/dyspraxia, as well as a wide range of other speech language issues.

Certification:
Eligibility for or possession of a valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Montana;
Hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology.
Education:
Completion of an ASHA accredited curriculum in Speech Therapy.

Prairie View Special Services Cooperative is looking for an itinerant speech pathologist 1 FTE for the 2012-13 school year. The candidate must be licensed by the State of MT. and have a MT driver license. CFY is available. Salary: minimum $35,000 DOE. Benefits provided. A vehicle will be provided for travel within the cooperative.
